Terms and Conditions
Concessions
Concessions are available for students, oaps and income support. Concession places must be booked in person with the valid id. We cannot take concession bookings over the phone or without valid id.
Course Payment
Payment for courses and block bookings is non-transferable and non refundable except in special circumstances and/or on production of a medical certificate. Refunds must be applied for before the end of the course or block.
Missed Classes
Missed classes can be used by attending another class within the 10 week block, where, for example, you may end up doing two classes a week. Please anticipate any holidays or work commitments and plan your yoga classes accordingly.
Pay In Advance / Drop-In Payment
Pay in advance classes work by booking and paying for your place in the class the week before. Places cannot be carried over to the next week except in the case of a teacher’s absence. If classes are busy, we operate on a first come first served basis. Please book at the end of the class, or by phone during the week. We hope to set up online booking for this soon.
Ante-Natal
Ante-natal block bookings convert to £8 drop in once you are within your due date. Missed classes within blocks cannot be carried over. Because we always have a long waiting list, you will lose your place in the class if you miss two classes in a row. Of course if there is good reason please let us know and we will hold your place open for you.
Children's & Teenage
Children’s and teenage classes are not available on a drop in basis.
Monthly Pass
Monthly passes are valid for one calendar month only and can be used
to attend any class on the timetable.
Care of Valuables
Please take all valuables into the studios with you. Although we make every effort to ensure this is a safe environment, The Yoga Centre cannot be held responsible for items left in the changing areas.
Gift System
If for any reason you incur missed classes and know you won’t be able to make them up we have a gift system. Missed classes may be gifted to a pool of places which we can offer to people who are really unable to afford yoga classes otherwise. Please let us know before your block ends.
If you wish to apply for gift classes please call or write to us with your circumstances. We offer gift classes as part of a course or block booking.
